On 4.4.18 Supreme Court ordered four states Assam, West Bengal, Tamilnadu and Kerala to pay tea garden workers 127 Crores as interim relief for unpaid dues. Management has been ordered to appear in Supreme Court on next date for repayment over 400 crores of dues. We had paid visit to some of the tea gardens where non-implementation of Court order like due list was not prepared and hanged, workers were forced to fill up balnk forms etc. were clearly visible. so, in order to bring justice to the unpaid labourers and proper implentation of Supreme Court Order, Right to Food and Work Campaign, West Bengal along with Paschimbanga Khet Majoor Samity had organized a Worker's convention on 10th June, 2018 at Dimdima Tea from 10 Pm.
